Houston, TX— Today, Senator Ted Cruz and the Republican Party of Texas announced Alexandra Mealer as the 2024 Victory Chair. Mealer will lead the RPT Victory Fund, which will be used to bolster enthusiasm for Republicans across the state, animate Texans to vote, and continue the momentum of registering new voters.
Senator Ted Cruz said, “At a time when our nation is under attack by leftist policies and ideas that threaten the very fabric of our great state, we need leaders willing to fight to ensure that the Lone Star State remains red. Alexandra Mealer is a dedicated leader, a strong conservative, and an unrelenting fighter. There is no one better suited to lead the charge and get out the vote for Republicans. I look forward to working hand in hand with her to keep Texas, Texas.”
Chairman Rinaldi said, “Alexandra Mealer was a strong candidate in a difficult race who outperformed the field in 2022. She will be a valuable addition to the GOP Victory effort.”

Mealer lives in Houston with her husband and two kids. She previously ran for Harris County judge and turned out a record number of voters. She is a combat veteran and a West Point and Harvard JD/MBA graduate.
