PJ Media: Ted Cruz ‘Not Remotely’ Satisfied with Big Tech on ‘Political Censorship’

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) declined to say if he thought Facebook and Twitter should have been invited to the White House’s Social Media Summit but said he’s “not remotely” satisfied with large technology companies’ handling of censorship online.

Cruz, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution, is scheduled to hold a “Google and Censorship through Search Engines” hearing next Tuesday.

“I have various significant concerns about the pattern of political censorship in the big tech media companies and chaired a hearing a couple of months ago on Facebook and Twitter in particular and next week we’ll be chairing another hearing looking at Google on the same thing,” he said.
