Senator Ted Cruz made a campaign stop in Austin Tuesday night. It was one of about a dozen stops on his first 3-day re-election tour.
Cruz first thanked law enforcement and first responders for their work during the Austin bombings. He then turned to campaign promises like repealing and replacing Obamacare, strengthening immigration enforcement, and defending the Second Amendment.
“Each day I have served in the Senate, I have endeavored to honor the promises I made to the men and women of Texas,” said Cruz. “And every single day I have worked to defend every word of the U.S. Constitution.”
