Together, We Will Keep Texas Free!
Blog|9.16.18This week our campaign went up with our first state-wide television ad. The spot draws attention to comments made by Congressman O’Rourke, when he said that he “could think of nothing more American” than to kneel during the National Anthem, and contrasts them with the sacrifice made by Texas veteran Tim Lee who gave both legs while serving our country.

There’s no state like Texas when it comes to supporting our active duty military and the 1.7 million veterans we have in the Lone Star State. We love our veterans. We cherish them. And I’m proud to fight for them in the United States Senate. #TXSen

We also released a video highlighting some of the recent campaign stops Ted has made around Texas.
The other big news of the week is that we were finallyable to lock down three debates! The first debate will be in Dallas on Friday, followed by one in Houston on September 30th, with the final debate scheduled for San Antonio on October 16th.
The campaign is active all across the state. With dedicated supporters like you, we are able to make the calls, knock the doors, and spread the message that Ted stands strong for Texas values in the Senate. We are reminding voters that our founding principles always need defending, and that we have a champion for defending the Constitution in Ted Cruz.
If you haven’t yet volunteered to help, now is the time!
If you are not able to come by the office, or prefer not to block walk to knock on doors, you can download the #CruzCrew mobile app, and make calls to voters from home:
Together, we will keep Ted Cruz in the Senate, and together we will keep Texas free!
