Ted Cruz for Texas Jobs

Blog|10.15.18

It would be difficult to overstate the importance of the energy industry and energy related jobs in the state of Texas.  Anyone who knows much about the state understands the key role the energy sector plays in the states vibrant economy. Beto O’Rourke however, has a record of casting votes that undermine the health of the energy industry in Texas.

It’s not hyperbole to suggest that Beto O’Rourke would be a disaster for the energy industry and energy jobs in Texas. He supported a gas tax increase, he voted to increase regulations on fracking, and to ban certain exports of natural gas. He voted against Liquefied Natural Gas exports. He voted in favor of a Carbon Tax, and he voted against the Keystone XL pipeline.

Ted Cruz, on the other hand, has a proven record of commitment to Texas energy, fighting to expand exploration, and to roll back regulations that have stifled developing our vast resources. He understands the important role our energy independence plays from a national security perspective, and is a champion for expanding jobs and opportunity in the state of Texas – which requires a healthy and vibrant energy sector.

Ted Cruz is our champion in the U.S. Senate, and with 22 days remaining, we need to keep up the pressure to finish strong.  There are several ways you can help.
