Another $1 Million Quarter – Tremendous Forward Momentum
By Ted Cruz
We raised over $1 million this quarter! That’s more than we’ve raised in any other quarter, which shows huge forward momentum.
We’re building an insurgent grassroots conservative campaign–but with over $2.8 million total to date, we’ve also raised more money than any other Senate candidate, including the sitting Lieutenant Governor.
To date, we have received contributions from 6,987 total donors, from 459 Texas cities, 166 Texas counties, and all 50 States. The campaign is aggressively raising money across the nation, and sixty-five percent of our total money raised is from Texas.
Also, our cash on hand is strong, at over $2.4 million, and we’ve been able to run a fiscally prudent campaign.
To be sure, we will not be able to compete with Lt. Gov. Dewhurst dollar for dollar. He will pour in millions more of his vast personal fortune. But, across Texas and the nation, we’re seeing tremendous enthusiasm, as grassroots activists, Tea Party leaders, Republican Women, and trusted conservative leaders are all uniting behind our campaign. With these remarkable fundraising totals and an energized grassroots army all across Texas, we will be able to get our proven conservative message to every primary voter in the state.
Also noteworthy is that the campaign is featured on the cover of the current issue of National Review magazine. This is a significant development — the last Senate candidate on the cover of National Review was Marco Rubio, two years ago. And after the NR cover, Rubio’s campaign took off, statewide and nationally.
Working together, we will ensure that the next senator from Texas is a strong constitutional conservative — ready to lead the effort to stop the Obama agenda and defend our liberty.
Today I would like you to take action for my campaign either by joining the Alamo Circle and continue to help us build our momentum or sign up to spend an hour online each week. Click above to find out how you can help.
